Accommodation in Broumovsko - Czech Republic

The Protected Landscape Area Broumovsko is located between Kašperské mountains and Orlické mountains. This interesting area is known mainly because of National Nature Reserve Adršpach-Teplice Rocks. The rocks are located in the triangle between the towns of Adrspach, Teplice nad Metují and hill Čáp above the village Skály. Adršpach Rocks and the Teplice stony town are separated by deep ravines Vlčí rokle. In this rock formation tourists can explore the rock towers, deep gorges, waterfalls and ponds. Visitors are offered both paid and unpaid scenic trails.

On the eastern edge of this area is another interesting place the National Nature Reserve Broumov Walls (Broumovské stěny) with numerous rock towns. The most famous canyon is Kovářova rokle. The area is crisscrossed with a dense network of hiking trails that lead to numerous sightseeing highlights (Hvězda, Supí koš, Koruna, Božanský Špičák a jné). These viewpoints allow views of the Krkonoše, Orlické and Jeseníky mountains and Králický Sněžník.

Near Broumovsko u Náchoda you can find another very popular place Grandmother's Valley (Babiččino údolí). Name valley is derived from the famous Czech literary work 'Babicka' (Grandmother) by Božena Nemcova. Nearby is also the Water Reservoir Rozkoš.
