How to get to the car park ? Click on the "Car parks" option then select a car park point on the map. Then just press "How do i get here" button and fill in your starting point.

If you go with small children, we recommend walking only to Kašperk Castle and a nearby Pustý castle, then return to the car park and drive the observation tower Sedlo. The tower can be reached driving via Ostružno to Albrechtice village. In Albrechtice turn left and the road will lead you to a car park with a restaurant near the tower. Here your kids can also have fun at rolling swing. From this palce you can already have nice views of the countryside. From the restaurant follow the red hiking marks to the 1.5 km far observation tower Sedlo. Here is also a steep climb, but not as bad as the one near the Kašperk castle.

To the Kašperk castle you head from the car park following the green hiking marks in direction to the Žlíbek crossroads. At this T-shaped crossroads turn right. At the next Y-crossroads turn left and straight through the Kašperk crossroads you reach the castle itself. In the courtyard of the castle, children can enjoy shooting supervised by an instructor at archery target and also small cannon. Of course you can take a tour of the castle and enjoy the beautiful views of the countryside. Admission and opening hours of the castle Kašperk. After the tour, return to the crossroads below the castle, go straight and follow a footpath, which will lead you to the Pustý hrádek castle. There, among other things, are magnificent views of the castle Kašperk and observation tower Sedlo.

Walk back to the previous crossroads and turn right. If you want to go to the Sedlo Tower by foot, turn at the Kašperk crossroads in the forest left. After a while at the "U Nového Dvoru crossroads" continue straight following the red hiking marks which will lead you along steep climb to the tower.

From the tower then return back to the "U Nového Dvoru" crossroads, turn left and follow the path back to the car park. A walking route to a nearby Velhartice Chateau can be found here.
